Another illustration of the gap between funding of collegiate sports: The San Diego City College baseball team caught the Honolulu's TheBus from Waikiki to Waipahu because they couldn't afford a van or charter bus.

I hope people stepped up and gave them rides. We always talk about the "Aloha Spirit"--but people often come up pretty short.
